CacheGuard OS NG EH 1.5.5 Screenshots

Formerly known as CacheGuard OS and CacheGuard Appliance, CacheGuard OS NG is designed to secure and optimize the web by turning your computer into a web gateway appliance that features a firewall (NAT/PAT, Linux netfilter / iptables) and antimalware (ClamAV, c-icap).
In addition to this, it supports URL filtering with blacklists and whitelists (SquidGuard), web load balancing (Squid, Apache), web application firewall (modSecurity), HTTP compression (Apche, ecap) and forward/reverse proxy (Squid, Apache).
Other supported features are a built-in SNMP agent (Net-SNMP), traffic logging (Squid, Apache), SSL termination (OpenSSL) and mediation (inspection, caching), web-based configuration (Apache), RAID and VRRP support (Linux mdadm, keepaliaved), QoS traffic shaping (Linux iproute2/tc) and LDAP authentication (OpenLDAP).
Based on LFS Linux, this OS appliance can be installed on a physical or virtual machine where all Internet traffic takes place. Backup and restore mode is ensured through a bash script. The OS configuration can be made from a command-line or web-based interface.
